We had the pleasure of working with Rachael Fischbeck this afternoon for a portfolio critique and a darkroom demonstration!
The tutorial started off with Kim reviewing Rachael's portfolio. He viewed each of her images, and asked why she took them so he could understand her direction and inspiration.
They then went into the darkroom to print a negative from Rachael's portfolio.
Always start with a test strip!
They were able to dial in the perfect grade, f-stop, and time to get a final print! The final result was a beautiful silver gelatin print that Rachael will get to take home once it is finished drying.
