Weston Collective Community Darkroom Photography Course

The Weston Collective Community Darkroom Photography Course

Do you want to continue pursuing the art of darkroom photography? With the limited amount of photography courses in our area, we decided to offer a darkroom lab class to those artists wanting to keep pursuing the art of silver gelatin printing. This course is for individuals who at least have some darkroom experience. The class will be structured via trimester and be limited to 7 students. The $150 class fee will cover chemistry and instruction from Zach Weston, the Executive Director of The Weston Collective. The class will meet two days a week, Monday & Wednesday from 5:30-8:30pm. In this course you will learn how to be proficient in the darkroom and have the ability to create beautiful silver gelatin prints. The methods taught are simple, straightforward, and are proven to get results. The methods taught are darkroom techniques passed down for Four Generations in The Weston Family.

By the end of the course you will be comfortable in the darkroom making silver gelatin prints that you are proud of and want to see hanging on the wall.

End goals include a members show at The Weston Collective and having a portfolio of 10 beautiful silver gelatin images.
