The Weston Collective
The exhibition was more than a display; it was a moment of recognition for young artists and an invitation to the public to view Seaside through a new lens—one shaped by authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. As one visitor mentioned, “These images remind us of the beauty that exists right around the corner.”
The 2025 Weston Collective Scholarship Exhibition and Awards Ceremony, held at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, was a vibrant celebration of youth creativity and photographic excellence from across the Central Coast. Featuring a stunning range of work from elementary through college-level students, the exhibition brought together emerging talents from Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties for an evening of art, recognition, and inspiration.
Please join us on May 23rd from 5:00-7:00pm at the Weston Collective studio in Seaside for the unveiling of Jorge Torres’ mural and collection of 15 photographs from around Monterey County. Torres is the Weston Collective’s first Artist in Residence and we are excited to see his work up in an exhibition!
