The Weston Collective’s New Bohemian Nights Fundraising Dinner is an intimate, purpose-driven evening dedicated to supporting youth photography scholarships and year-round creative programs. Centered around community connection and shared belief in the arts, the dinner brings together supporters who understand that access to photography education can shape confidence, perspective, and future opportunity for young people.
Rather than a formal program or exhibition, the evening is intentionally simple and welcoming — a thoughtfully prepared meal, meaningful conversation, and an opportunity to directly invest in students. Funds raised support scholarships that remove financial barriers for youth who want to participate in photography classes, workshops, portfolio development, and hands-on technical training. Contributions help place cameras in students’ hands, provide instruction in both digital and traditional processes, and expand access to creative mentorship.
This fundraising dinner is more than an event — it is a statement that our community values creative education. By gathering around the table, supporters help cultivate the next generation of photographers, storytellers, and critical thinkers. Now, imagine walking through that same darkroom, preserved in its entirety to this day, alongside the palpable memory of the artist who called it home. We hope you will join us to experience the rich and bountiful history of Wildcat Hill while supporting black and white film photography students in Monterey County.
