The Weston Collective
The exhibition was more than a display; it was a moment of recognition for young artists and an invitation to the public to view Seaside through a new lens—one shaped by authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. As one visitor mentioned, “These images remind us of the beauty that exists right around the corner.”
The 2025 Weston Collective Scholarship Exhibition and Awards Ceremony, held at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, was a vibrant celebration of youth creativity and photographic excellence from across the Central Coast. Featuring a stunning range of work from elementary through college-level students, the exhibition brought together emerging talents from Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties for an evening of art, recognition, and inspiration.
We are thrilled to announce the success of our recent fundraising drive, Monterey County Gives!, where we raised over $10,000 to support youth photography programs. This incredible achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity and enthusiasm of our fantastic community of supporters.
