We have once again been accepted into the McGives Fundraising drive! We are so excited and thankful for this opportunity. This fundraising drive helps The Weston Collective tremendously for purchasing materials needed for our youth programs. Our BIG IDEA is to fund our youth program budget so we can continue to offer after school photography programs.
We are excited to announce our Facing Seaside II Exhibition! All are welcome and we hope to see you there. Businesses featured include: La Tortuga, Generation Ave, Lupita’s Bakery, Lynn’s Arcade and Counterpoint Coffee Shop. Come check out the amazing work by the students in our after school program!

The Facing Seaside Part I Exhibition will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at The Weston Collective from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
We will be hosting an Open Studio day at The Weston Collective on the second Saturday of each month. We will vary in our activities ranging from silver gelatin printing, to making cyanotypes, to watching photography films. The day is free flowing and you can stop by whenever works and stay for however long you can. This event is free!
Join us on The Second Saturday of February for a Wet Plate Collodion Demonstration by Allan Barnes. Allan will be teaching a Wet Plate Collodion Workshop at the Collective in June and this is a great way to get a taste for the process. Space is limited to 10 !

Learn how to use a large format camera and process sheet film under the guidance of two legendary photographers, Kim Weston and Rick Murai!
Sign-up to learn how to print the gum bichromate process with legendary photographer, Brian Taylor. Brian has 40 years of teaching experience and has taught many gum bichromate workshops!
Learn how to easily navigate Photoshop and produce a museum quality, printable file with Photoshop Master Rick Murai. Each participant will also walk away with an 8x10 digital image printed on our Canon Pro 2000!
The Weston Collective will be open on Sunday, November 10th from 11:00am - 3:30pm for black and white developing! Bring some of your negatives down to the only community darkroom in Monterey County to see your images come to life! Zach will be here to assist you with any questions/concerns you have with the process.
The Weston Collective will be hosting two, week long programs where you will learn how to use a film camera, process and develop film, and how to make a final silver gelatin print! We are accepting budding photographers ages 12-16 years old.
